LILY JOHNSON, violist
Lily Johnson has been playing the viola since she was four years old. Ms. Johnson has been studying with Gina Detienne for four years. Johnson has performed in various concerts in the Chicagoland area such as, Naperville Music and the Saints Peter and Paul Fine Arts Festival. For the past three summers, Johnson has participated in the O.P.U.S. Never Too Late to Play Chamber Music Workshops. In 2011, Ms. Johnson joined the Fox Valley Academy of Music Performance now under the direction of Ms. Katheryn Barrett-Brown. Ms. Johnson started in the FVAMP’s “Youth Strings” and is currently in her second year with the “Academy Orchestra”. Johnson plans to continue playing the viola in high school and beyond. She lives in Naperville with her parents, two brothers and sister and attends Saints Peter and Paul school.
