Fox Valley Academy of Music Performance 2008 Painted Violin Auction

Sixteen renowned area artists have transformed old stringed instruments into new works of art. These unique pieces will be auctioned off at the gala reception on June 26, 2008 during the “Salute to America” concert at the Paramount Arts Centre in Aurora. The Painted Violins can be viewed by clicking each of the artist's names below.

The collection of Painted Violins may be viewed as they tour to area galleries in the western suburbs. Each piece will be available for purchase by bidding along the course of the tours. The final bids will be taken by silent auction during the "Salute to America" concert on June 26, 2008. Tickets are available for purchase at various locations. All proceeds benefit the Fox Valley Academy of Music Performance.
