Jason R. Palmer has a long and distinguished career as a professional musician
in the Fox Valley area. He has served as conductor of numerous choirs and instrumental ensembles
over the years, including serving as organist and choirmaster for congregations along the Fox River.
Mr. Palmer holds advanced degrees in conducting and is the composer of numerous
choral works for both adults and children. He is one of the 2009 recipients of the Signature
Sinfonian Award from Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia for his work to further the development of high standards
in music in America.
Mr. Palmer currently serves as Music Director for the Fox Valley Philharmonic,
the Fox Valleys community orchestra, and Fox Valley Youth Symphony Orchestras. He is also the
Director of Music, Senior Organist and Choirmaster at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Aurora, IL 60506.
