Jason R. Palmer has a long and distinguished career as a professional musician
in the Fox Valley area. He has served as conductor of numerous choirs and instrumental ensembles
over the years, including serving as organist and choirmaster for congregations along the
Fox River.
Mr. Palmer holds an advanced degree in music from Northern Illinois University
where he founded the student Baroque Ensemble for which he played harpsichord. He is the composer
of numerous choral works for both adults and children.
Mr. Palmer currently serves as the Conductor and Director for the Fox Valley
Philharmonic, the Fox Valleys community orchestra, and Fox Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra. He
is also the Director of Music, Senior Organist and Choirmaster at Our Savior Lutheran Church
in Aurora, IL 60506.
